What makes Megginson Therapies, Physical Therapy different:
Flexible hours: We stay open late three nights a week and schedule weekend visits so you don’t have to miss work in order to get your therapy.
The same therapist every visit: We are a small, family-owned business. You will not be treated by a physical therapist assistant or a “tech” or an athletic trainer, you will be treated by Jay Megginson, P.T. every visit.
House calls for those patients who fall through the cracks of the system. Lots of people are too mobile to qualify for Home Health Physical Therapy, but not mobile or safe enough or willing to drive to outpatient physical therapy two to three times a week. That’s where we come in…literally.
An Experienced Physical Therapist: I graduated from the University of South Alabama Physical Therapy School in 1998 and have had a diverse career in acute care, outpatient neuro and orthopedic therapy, inpatient and outpatient wound-care, and pain management. In addition, I have an outstanding working relationship with doctors in the Mobile and Baldwin County Areas.
